Today, I’m excited to share another inspiring tinnitus success story and introduce you to Rochelle!

When Rochelle’s tinnitus suddenly spiked, her life unraveled almost overnight. Within days, overwhelming fear, panic, and severe insomnia took hold—and past PTSD she thought she had already overcome resurfaced in full force.

Sound felt dangerous. Being alone felt impossible. And after days without sleep, Rochelle found herself in the emergency room, struggling with very dark thoughts.

In this powerful conversation, Rochelle shares her remarkable 3-month journey to near-complete relief, and what it was like navigating severe tinnitus, phonophobia, and hyperacusis while simultaneously working through deep trauma.

Topics Discussed:

👉The sudden and frightening onset of her tinnitus
👉How anxiety, panic, and insomnia quickly took over her life
👉How past trauma and PTSD resurfaced during the crisis
👉Her discouraging experiences seeking medical help
👉The often-unspoken mental health crisis behind severe tinnitus—and why there is always hope
👉How fear led to agoraphobia, phonophobia, and sound sensitivity
👉Why trauma-informed therapy can be crucial for tinnitus sufferers
👉The rapid improvements she experienced within weeks
👉How she achieved near-complete habituation in under three months
👉Where she is today — and how tinnitus became a catalyst for personal growth

Rochelle’s story offers reassurance that full recovery is possible, even in the most challenging circumstances.

If you’re struggling with severe tinnitus, fear of sound, or feel trapped in a cycle of anxiety and hopelessness, you don’t have to face it alone.
